Promises When You Need Wisdom
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." (James 1:5).
"He will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths." (Isaiah 2:3).
"In will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." (Psalm 32:8).
"The Proverbs of Solomon... to know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equality; to give subtlety to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels..... "She (wisdom) is more precious than rubies, and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon here; and happy is everyone that retaineth her." (Proverbs 3:13-18).
